Custom 3D-printed
plastic car parts.
When a small plastic component breaks or goes missing, replacing the whole assembly may be unnecessary. We review your references to design the individual non-structural part.
For accepted custom orders, 3D design is included. You pay for the printed part and shipping. Delivery is currently available to UK addresses only; prices are in euros. Review our shipping and returns terms.
Which car parts can be considered?
Plastic trim caps, blanking plates, covers, frames and similar non-structural components are good starting points. Mounting features, temperature exposure and available references determine whether a replacement can be made.
Explore examples in our current catalogue:
- VOLKSWAGEN Polo 6R — Cup holder lattice cover
- BMW E30 · LHD mirrors — Left mirror underside cover
- MERCEDES-BENZ W124 manual — Leather gearshift boot frame
These are independent aftermarket plastic parts. Check each listing for the component supplied and installation requirements.
This service is for non-structural plastic parts. Seat-belt components, braking and steering parts, airbag components and other safety-critical parts are outside its scope.
Your part, step by step
Photo and measurement checklist for a missing or broken car part →
Tell us which part you need
A short description is enough to start. Mention whether it is broken or missing.
Follow the photo guide
The assistant tells you which views to take and how to hold the camera. The guide adapts to your part.
Review the references
We check whether the photos are enough to begin a design proposal. If a detail is unclear, we ask for that view or measurement.
Confirm the next step
Viability, material, price and timing are confirmed before manufacturing. The finished part still needs a physical fit check.
From references to a printed part
We review the geometry, attachment points and working environment before accepting a custom order. If a hidden feature cannot be determined, further measurements or an original sample may be needed. Photos alone do not guarantee an exact fit.
The material is chosen for the component and its position. Each product page identifies its printed material and intended function. The choice for a custom part depends on its location, loading and exposure to heat or weather.
The resulting design can be reused for the same part variant, making future replacements simpler.
Common questions
Can I request a part that is completely missing?
Yes. Send photos and measurements of the opening, the surrounding assembly and any surviving fixing points. A matching part, a part number or reference photos can help establish its shape. We assess whether the available information is sufficient.
Is the 3D design really included?
There is no separate 3D design charge for accepted custom part orders. You pay for the printed part and shipping. Acceptance depends on the part and the references available.
Are these original manufacturer parts?
No. Printacar supplies independent aftermarket replacements. Vehicle names and original references are used to identify compatibility; they do not imply a connection with the vehicle manufacturer.
